Also known as eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis, this is a variant of polyarteritis nodosa affecting small to medium vessels. It is a necrotising vasculitis. Almost all patients have asthma, and eosinophilia and p-ANCA is positive in 75%. Cardiac involvement (including infarction) is common.
Diagnostic criteria (four required): asthma, eosinophilia, neuropathy, migratory or transient pulmonary opacities, paranasal sinus abnormalities and/or extravascular eosinophils at biopsy.

•  Centrilobular nodules (less commonly)
